FAQ

What is Special Interest?
With ‘Special Interest’, Messe Frankfurt compiles themed Special Interest directories of exhibitors who have special qualifications. These directories refer to the purchasing requirements of individual visitor target groups.

The 3 Heimtextil Special Interest Themes

Interior.Architecture.Hospitality includes Heimtextil’s offerings for interior decorators and decision-makers in the contract business. The ‘Interior.Architecture.Hospitality DIRECTORY’ gives an overview of all exhibitors with contract textiles and furnishing solutions.

The ‘Green Directory’ contains a list of all exhibitors at the fair who use sustainable production methods.

The ‘directory of retail-trade suppliers’ lists exhibitors that offer home and household textiles in small and very small quantities. It is deliberately aimed at Heimtextil visitors from the specialist retail trade and the interior decorating business who want to order quantities tailored to their varying needs for a flexible product range.

How do exhibitors benefit from the Special Interest Themes?
The Special Interest Themes provide opportunities for additional marketing measures at no extra cost and attract visitors in a target manner. These measures include:

  • an entry in the relevant Special Interest directory – the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality DIRECTORY, the Green Directory, or the directory of retail trade suppliers;
  • special designation of the company’s stand with the relevant Special Interest signet
  • additional labelling of the company’s entry in the online exhibitor search and in the official trade fair catalogue with the relevant Special Interest signet

How can exhibitors qualify for inclusion in a Special Interest Theme?
Exhibitors can qualify by offering products in the relevant segments or by meeting the criteria of the respective Special Interest Theme.
